I pretty much want an XBox 360. All my buddies are getting but alas I am not. Wendy is probably sick of me asking my friends to sway her, hopefully she still laughs.
The other issue with the XBox is that she does not want me to hook it up to the plasma. So do I go out spend money on another TV so I can play my XBox in HD? Seriously, why even purchase the 360 or any next generation console if you don't have a nice TV to hook it up to? To me that is pointless, playing a 360 on dark age TV technology.
My friend Matt says he wants to talk his wife into getting a new TV as well so he can hook his XBox up to that. For him it's a little different though since his wife routinely works a goofy schedule. Sometimes nights, sometimes on the weekend too.
I don't know, this is a battle not worth waging I am sure since I know in the future I will get it eventually anyway. Patience is a virtue and I should be happy my life is so great. When I think about people in other countries we have it so good here in the USA and we should be proud of that.

Holy Crap, how does life move so darn fast? I have not logged onto this site in ages it seems like... Anyway, I have had a son, who you can see on my blog. Man he is a cute kid, must be good genes or something. Good thing my wife is hot! :)
Work is going, I think it is time to get away from systems. I am talking to someone in planning next week after I get back from the annual Milwaukee trip. I hope it bears fruit because I think am ready for some change.
Bowl season starts tonight, TCU vs. NIU... Who cares, seriously. These useless bowl games to get teams on TV who are never on national TV. It's time for a playoff IMHO. This past weekend every other division, including the NAIA crowned a national champion in football using a playoff system. Of course the obvious dilemma is money which is too bad. Everyone makes money except for the guys out there killing themselves every Saturday in the fall.
What else... In 2 days we make the yearly pilgrimage to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Christmas. I can't wait, time away from work and time with friends and family. Until next time, Zai Jin!

I am back and I have not written anything in a very long time. On Wednesday I am going to Florida with Wendy, if you couldn't figure it out by now, my fiance, for my brother's wedding. I can't wait because i am going to get to play golf in February!! That to me is sweet because in Cincinnati you usually do not get a chance to play golf in February unless you are crazy.
Wendy is travelling like mad for work but that is all I can say on that, top seccret stuff, and that is all I know.
My work is busy but alas I still get paid like dog crap, what a wonderful thing. I had my review and it was confirmed that I absolutely kicked butt in 2003, I don't understand what else I could possibly do to make these people see I am worth more than I am given and deserving of more responsibility as well. That is very touchy subject at work since many of the leadership team gain their value by how much they do and their titles. Or should I say by how much they don't do, meetings all of the time. It's the greatest way to feel like you are doing work without actually doing anything at all. So what I am saying is that is fine, I want a new title!! :)

It is Saturday, one day before we head back to Cincinnati and I really don't want to go back yet. I wish I had more time off but unfortunately my job does not permit this. Work is going to busy when I get back. It almost sounds like I do not like what I do but that is not true. I do like what I am doing for my job I just wish a couple of things were different. No biggie.
Again, one more day, hopefully it will be a nice smooth ride back. I will get to see my sister tomorrow night so that will be nice. Wendy, my fiance, is wonderful, I love her so much. 8 more months to go and then my life is over!! :) Hope everyone had a Merry Xmas, bye for now.

Well, let's see, it is the day before Xmas and I am in Milwaukee, WI which from a weather perspective is much different than Cincinnati, OH. I am here with my beautiful fiance Wendy, visiting her family for the holidays. We brought Rocky with us, our yellow lab, and he is currently eating a treat I just gave him about 10 minutes ago. It has been for the most part uneventful since we have arrived, a little shopping and a little bit of seeing some friends.
Yesterday we pretty much just sat around and did nothing, I watched Triple X and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, it was actually ok much to my surprise. Other than that I read and wished I had brought my XBox to Milwaukee. I have been playing NCAA 04 like crazy, I am sure that thing will cause Wendy to kill me sooner or later.
Today a bunch of Wendy's family will be coming over in the afternoon, not exactly sure when. But this will be gift exchange day #1 and tomorrow obviously #2. Tomorrow is the good day because all we do is eat and eating is a wonderful thing. Tomorrow is the day we go to Chicago to visit, you guessed it, more family and to eat like crazy people. Last year I had a lot of fun so I am hoping this year will be much of the same.
What else is going on, ah yes, WORK. Work has been crazy lately but exciting at the same time. We are starting some new initiatives that hopefully will lead to many good things for me in the future. It has been a little frustrating tho as I am sure many can attest to. I do basically 4 or 5 jobs in one and get paid like absolute dog crap but I think that may be a sign of the times. I guess the plan is to learn as much as possible in the next 2 or 3 years and go somewhere else so I can actually earn a favorable wage.
Well it sounds like someone is finally getting up around here so I will write more later. Who knows what I will write next, it may be interesting to folks or it may not. Maybe I will write more later, we shall see. I will sign off for now and say s my brother always says when he says goodbye, CIAO!
